Top 5 Ways To Use a Facial Oil
Hey, FaceTory Fam!
Have you tried facial oil before?! It’s a real game changer! One of the best things about a face oil is that it's a super multifunctional product! So, today we're going to share some of the best ways to use it! Read on to find out more :D
1. Mix it in with moisturizer
Combine your face oil with your favorite moisturizer! It's perfect whenever your skin is feeling dry or looking a tad bit dull. Just squeeze a bit of your favorite moisturizer on the back of your hand and add 2-3 drops of the Oats Oil in. Mix and apply!
2. Spot treat
Depending on your skin’s condition, you can apply the oats oil over your entire face or as a spot treatment. If you’re dealing with hyperpigmentation, redness or acne, we recommend applying the oats oil on those specific areas to help even out and calm the skin!
3. Apply it before moisturizer or as a moisturizer
Apply it as a moisturizer! One layer works perfectly for me but always listen to your skin and adjust if needed!
4. Mix it into foundation for a natural and dewy look
We love mixing face oil with our foundation! For a light, natural coverage, do one pump of foundation and 3-4 drops of my face oil on the back of your hand. Mix, mix, mix and apply! This tip is perfect whenever you want a bit of coverage for the day!
5. Invigorate your skin with a gentle facial massage
Our final tip is to give your skin a massage! Just pour a few drops on your face to make sure you have enough slip and then start gently massaging your skin and finger, patting like you're playing the piano! It’s a great relaxation method and it also helps with circulation! Don't forget to add in a jade roller too!
The face oil we’ve been loving recently is FaceTory Calming Glow Weightless Facial Oil! It has a milky consistency and feels like an essence rather than an oil! This part is probably one of our favorite steps in our routine! Treatment products always make us uber happy!
