Get Rid of Dry Patches
Hey FaceTory Fam!
Whether you have dry patches, dehydrated skin, or dry skin, we can help! Keeping your skin barrier moisturized and hydrated is super important to help combat things related to dryness/dehydration. But did you know it's not just about slapping on a thick cream and calling it a day? Nope! Your skin deserves more than that, my friend! We have a few tips that will help make sure you're nourishing your skin the right way!
Balance is key
Water and oil moisture on your skin needs to be balanced. If you're an oily skin type and still suffer from dryness or tightness, then your skin is probably dehydrated. Don't rid your skin of oil moisture! If you're a dry skin type, your skin needs a helping hand in balancing and moisturizing. Different types of moisturizers will help your skin depending on what you need and what sort of skin type you have! Check out this blog for more info on that!
Hydrate then moisturize
You need to make sure you're hydrating your skin first and then locking it in with moisturizer. Add in a toner, serum, or facial oil before your moisturizer! If you skip hydrating your skin, then your moisturizer will have nothing to seal in! One of the whole points to moisturizer is keeping the hydration in and also adding a protective layer of moisture. Trust me, doing so will definitely help get rid of dry patches!
Use an essence or a sheet mask with a milky texture
For a quick-fix and fast glow, try using a sheet mask or facial oil before bed and/or before you go out-- and don't forget to seal it all in with moisturizer ;D. We like adding in a facial oil, or a cream essence sheet mask, 2-3 times a week when our skin is feeling dry or patchy! It helps add that extra boost of nourishment! And our skin always feels so plump and healthy the morning after :D
